Blocking traffic
As I was walking over the Mass. Ave bridge Friday night, I saw this gang of bicyclists reclaiming the street. They backed up traffic along Mass. Ave all the way to Columbus Avenue.

If people didn’t drive with such blatant disregard to cyclists (who have equal rights under the law to the road… although equal rights are something Mass. is having trouble with right now), these guys wouldn’t feel motivated to hold everyone up. They got you to notice. Awareness is the first step towards driver education and respect for all tax-paying road users.

What about all the cyclists mown down by thoughtless car drivers… I agree that they are totally entitled to take actions like this to raise awareness and make people think.
